Horoof
Arabic letters, learned by playing. In development.
What it is
Horoof — حروف, Arabic for letters — is an app for children meeting the Arabic alphabet for the first time. It is in development, and this page is where news about it will appear.
What it does
- Arabic first — Built around Arabic script and how its letters actually behave — the shapes that change depending on where in a word they sit.
- Learning through play — The same principle behind Glypho: a child should want another round, and the learning should be what a round is made of.
- Made for small hands — Large targets, short sessions and no reading required to get started.
